Southland

Youthline Southland
Our free 24/7 helpline is staffed by trained helpline counsellors, providing a listening ear, advice, and support when it’s needed most.
We’re proud to provide opportunities for our local community and rangatahi through helpline training, volunteering, workshops, leadership development, and community events.
Our in-school peer support programme empowers young people to support each other, while our tailored workshops in schools and community settings address the unique needs of each group we work with.
As an active part of our local community, Youthline Southland is dedicated to empowering Southland rangatahi and building stronger, healthier communities.

Volunteer With Us
Help others by volunteering on the helpline. We’ll train you up and support you to make a difference.

Support Our Work
We welcome and appreciate groups running fundraising events for our young people. Run a fundraising event such as a mufti day, market, raffle, cake stall, or an auction. Let us know what you plan to do and how we can work together.

Community Education Sessions
We offer tailored workshops and education sessions designed to meet the unique needs of each group we work with. Whether in schools, workplaces, or community settings, our workshops aim to empower and inspire rangatahi and their communities.
Contact us to find out more and discuss how we can support your group.

Peer Support
We'll train and support your school or youth group to look out for your younger members.

Mental Health First Aid
Do our interactive 2.5 hour training so you know how to help someone who comes to you in crisis. Free for groups of young people.
